A Delegation of King Fahad High School Visits the Engineering College
A delegation of King Fahad High School in Majmaah visited the College of Engineering on Tuesday 27\6\1437 AH correspondent to 5\4\2016. The delegation consisted of 27 students under the supervision of the student adviser, Abdulkareem Al-Abdulkreem. The dean of engineering college, Dr. Abdullah Al-Abdulkareem, received the delegation at the hall of engineering clubs in the College, and welcomed the students. In his speech, he gave a general overview of the College, and talked about the importance of pursuing high education and the growing need of engineers in the job market. Dr. Ahmad Jalal gave an overview of the Department of Electrical Engineering, its majors and the job opportunities of each major. Dr. Ziad Al-Jaizawi then presented an overview on the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, and Dr. Yehya Al-Jahmani offered an overview on the Department of Environmental and Civil Engineering. The delegation undertook a tour of the College's facilities, laboratories, and Departments to demonstrate the educational process and the social services. It also visited the engineering drawing halls and the mechanical workshops, and looked at the equipment used at the workshops and different laboratories. Finally, the delegation thanked the College for the effort in developing the College and for the warm welcome and hospitality
