20250804812The College of Engineering held a virtual orientation meeting on Blackboard platform for new enrolled students on Sunday. The meeting was held in the presence of the dean, Dr. Saleh al-Dahsh, the vice-dean for Educational Affairs, Dr. Ibrahim al-Saduni and faculty members. Welcoming new students for joining the college, the dean encouraged them to work hard and improve their skills to have better job opportunities in the market. You should utilize this meeting in asking any question related to joining the college. The dean pointed out that students should pay a close attention to the explanations provided by faculty members about each academic department and to harness the information provided to them on this day in selecting the academic major that match both their academic interests and capacity. The vice-dean, Dr. al-Saduni, highlighted the services provided by the Vice-Dean’s Office for Educational Affairs and its associated committees as well as the Student Club. The Timetable and Exam Committee coordinator, Dr. Ahmed Jalal, guided students on how to register the core and elective courses based on the study plan. Dr. Yazeed Qasaymah, coordinator of Academic Advising Committee, talked about the important role of the Academic Advising Committee in helping students to overcome academic challenges facing them during their study. A Q&A session was held to answer students’ questions, particularly those related to selecting the right major based on students’ personality.
