Students of the Faculty of Engineering Put to the Tests of:

"The Gauge of Higher Education Outputs for Engineering Disciplines"

 

Students of the Faculty of Engineering did tests on "The Gauge of Higher Education Outputs for Engineering Disciplines", which were organized by ( the National Center for assessment in Higher Education), that aims to enhance the quality assurance and uplift the expected outputs of the basic education in various engineering disciplines as well as the development of skills and capabilities, which are considered as part of the general requirements of the career efficiency as well as the factors of success in the practical life.

Based on coordination between the National Center for Assessment in Higher Education and the Department of the Faculty of Engineering, The Committee of Registration, Timetables, and Examinations, in the College, has set up the necessary preparations for the test, which included the definition of test and its usefulness for the graduates of engineering disciplines, through the distribution of introductory rolled manuscripts and publications showing the importance of the test before and after graduation from the university. Therefore the date of the test has been set in coordination with the National Center for Assessment in Higher Education to be on Tuesday (16-1-1435 H)

The test has been held in the presence of the Dean of Community College Dr. Abdullah Al Dahash, the responsible for the tests of assessment in Majmaah governorate, and Dr. Tarek Nabil, the Coordinator of the Committee of Registration, Timetables, and Examinations in the college, and three observers from the College, the number of students who have attended the tests was (40) students from various sections of the College.

At the end of the tests, answer sheets have been handed over to a representative of the National Center for assessment in Higher Education. As a matter of  encouragement for the students who attended the tests, the National Center for assessment in Higher Education has arranged a random draw contest to win an IPod device to be delivered to one of the participant students. Moreover,  a reward of an IPod will be granted for each one of the first three students, in addition to honor the first hundred students at the level of the Kingdom universities in a special ceremony sponsored by his Excellency the Minister of Higher Education
