Vice Dean of College of Engineering Meets Students of the College

Within the permanent quest of the Faculty of Engineering to communicate between the management of the College and students of the College, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Kanhal, Vice Dean of College of Engineering, has met students of the Faculty of Engineering of all academic departments on Sunday 23/04/1435 H, in the presence of Heads of Departments, Coordinators, and Secretary of the Student Advisory Council.

At the beginning of the meeting, Vice Dean of the College has welcomed students and thanked them for attending this meeting, and then he assured them that the student will always remain a concern for the management of both the University and the College as well. Adding that everything in the college is employed to obtain the convenience for the student as well as upgrading his academic level. Also, the management of the College has sought to solve all the academic problems that students face, but some of these obstacles remained pending, waiting for solution.

Then the Vice Dean opened the chance for students and listened to all their observations on the obstacles they face during the academic semester, which mainly focused on the existence of discrepancies in the schedule of the courses  or in the monthly tests as well as the final exam, in addition to the request of activating the training sessions and  increase their number as well as the diversity of these training sessions to include all the academic disciplines, because of the great utility obtained by students, and to give the problems of conflicts in the schedule for graduates a priority in the solution. Also, due to the conflicts in the times of school materials or tests, the student will be forced to go along his non-study plan and register materials from higher levels, or low levels and consequently this will affect on his academic performance. Vice Dean of the College has promised students to study all their proposals and stressing on the working  to solve their problems with the management of the  College as soon as possible, in such a case to obtain the interest of the college students.

 At the end of the meeting, students of the College expressed their thanks to the Vice Dean of the College for the continuous keenness of the College management to overcome the obstacles that face students of the College to achieve their progress and development.
