Under the supervision of the Vice-Dean’s Office and in cooperation with the Student Support Unit and the Student Activity Unit at the College of Science and Humanities in Remah, a meeting was organized for new students in the department of business administration in the presence of the dean, Dr. Bandar Al-Yahya, the vice-dean for educational affairs, the head of business administration department and some faculty members.
The meeting, which was held on Monday, started 10:30 am and ended at 11:30 am in the multipurpose hall at the college, began by a welcoming speech for new students who were motivated to work hard and to comply with the regulations and academic procedures of both the university and the college, pointing out that everyone at the college is cooperating to overcome their obstacles.
The vice-dean for Educational Affairs, Dr. Abdullah Al-Attani talked about the importance of the educational process and the compliance with the academic procedures, emphasizing that attending classes is paramount.
Following a talk delivered by the head of department on the study plan and academic regulations and procedures in the department, Dr. Ahmed Hassan, head of student support unit, introduced students to the academic advising and briefed them about add/drop courses and how to access the e-learning system.
Students’ questions related to the regulation and academic procedures were answered.
