A Lecture entitled “Books as Source of Knowledge”

The Student Activity Unit at the Department of English Language conducted a lecture entitled “Books as Source of Knowledge”.
The lecture was presented by Dr. Sana’a Khatir who encouraged students to preserve their books and increased their awareness of book’s values as a source of information and knowledge.
The presenter also suggested a number of ways to motivate students to preserve their books and to educate them about the importance of books in their life.
A special place for keeping used books was suggested along with the idea of contracting with a company for recycling textbooks.
