A Lecture entitled “Righteousness towards Parents” in Remah

The Community Service Unit at the College of Science and Humanities in Remah held in cooperation with the Intellectual Awareness Unit a lecture entitled “Righteousness towards Parents”.
The lecture was presented on Wednesday by Dr. Abdullah Al-Mansour to staff of Al-Fursan High School in Remah.
The aim of the lecture is to have a generation that is committed to sharia, patriotism and family ties. The lecture addressed the following topics:
1. Means of righteousness to parents during life and after death
2. Warning against disobedience to parents
3. Stories of companions on righteousness to parents
4. Contemporary examples of righteousness and disobedience to parents.
5. Q & A session
A large number of staff from the Education Office attended the lecture. Students were very active in the lecture which motivated the coordinator of community activity, Mr. Fahad Al-Subaya’a to invite the community service unit to provide similar activities in future.
