The Applied College holds events on the Breast Cancer Awareness Month

The Applied College, Ramah Branch, Girls Section, held awareness activities on the  of Breast Cancer Awareness Month to spread health awareness among students and staff about the importance of early detection and ways to prevent this disease.

The activities held throughout the month of October included a variety of activities including awareness lectures, interactive workshops, and an educational exhibition.

The activities were held in the presence of the Executive Director, Dr. Amal Al-Mazyad, and the Supervisor of Student Activities at the branch, Dr. Radwa Ahmed Maher. Comprehensive information about breast cancer was shared including breast cancer's symptoms, the importance of early detection and its role in increasing the chances of recovery and prevention methods that can be followed to maintain women's health. Periodic self-examinations were also emphasized. 


The Applied College branch in Remah set up a booth to share educational publications and brochures about breast cancer including advice on healthy nutrition and the importance of physical activity. 

Awareness workshops were conducted to teach students the steps of self-examination. The college administration advised students to provide full moral support to breast cancer patients and show solidarity via words of encouragement and expressions of support.
