One of the most important strategic goals of the applied colleges is to contribute to bridge the gap between the labor market and academia, reduce career exposure in applied specializations, and align the outputs of the applied college with development goals via more applied and professional training and forming strategic partnership between the college with the private sector. With that mind, the college's organizational structure reflects the college's readiness to achieve its strategic goals as well as MU's goals.
The Resource Development and Investment Unit, the Strategic Companies Unit, the Marketing Unit, the Administrative Affairs Unit, and the Support Services Unit seek to achieve the college's strategic goals and raise spending efficiency.
Since the student is the focus of the educational process, we work to form partnerships that offer training to the college graduates and have them employed. We also invest our resources to qualify college graduates to meet the growing demand in the labor market as well as contribute to the localization initiative (professional exposure).
Finally, I extend my sincere thanks and gratitude to our colleagues in the college, headed by Dr. Shadi Al-Shuwayer, for his unlimited support to ensure that students receive the best educational practices, the best professional certificates and the Professionals Medal.
Dr. Abdullah Al-Saadoun
Assistant CEO of the Applied College
