The Applied College conducts a first aid program

The Student Affairs Unit at the Applied College branch in Remah held a program under the theme "Ambassador of Life" to explain basic first aid skills to students during critical health moments and emergencies.

The program featured comprehensive training content covering both theoretical and practical aspects of first aid. The program included awareness lectures and practical applications on how to handle various injuries, such as fainting, bleeding, choking, burns, and dealing with heart attacks as well as the basics of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).

The program also highlighted the essential tools and medical equipment that should be available in first aid kits, as well as the importance of quick and accurate responses during emergencies. It further aimed to promote a culture of preventive awareness among students.

Training sessions were held to simulate emergency situations, allowing participants to directly apply what they had learned under the supervision of healthcare specialists. This enhanced the students' confidence in their ability to respond appropriately in critical situations.

The participants commended the importance of this initiative, emphasizing that the program provided them with essential knowledge and skills that enable them to assist others in emergencies.
