Posted in 2025-12-01

The Applied College, through its Field Training Unit in Majmaah, organized the “Innovation and Creativity” initiative to empower students with future-ready skills and essential workplace competencies. The initiative also sought to strengthen core values and knowledge that enable students to play an active role in their communities.

As part of the college’s programs to nurture students’ creative and innovative abilities, the initiative encouraged students to explore non-traditional fields such as art, design, and conceptual innovation. It also created a platform for students to showcase their projects and talents to their peers and faculty members.

The initiative also aimed to promote innovative thinking and inspire students to propose new ideas that can contribute to the development of their communities, as well as the educational and professional sectors.

Many students participated in the program and presented a variety of artistic works and creative concepts. The initiative also featured interactive sessions where practical tips were shared on how to develop innovation skills and how to transform ideas into viable projects.

The Unit pointed out that this initiative reflects the college’s commitment to creating a stimulating and innovative learning environment that aligns with labor market needs, enhances students’ career readiness for market, and reinforces a culture of community engagement and creativity across all academic and applied activities.
