Introduction of Innovation UnitThe Innovation Unit primary responsibility is to inculcate inquisitiveness among the students of College Od Applied Medical Sciences, Majmaah university. Unit has dedicated members, who are proactive to facilitate range of creative solutions for a given medical or social issue from the students and ensuring its implementation.Vision StatementTo be acknowledged as a major actor in the development of innovative medical solutions and to facilitate creativity among students of the College of Applied Medical Science.MissionOur mission is to assist all Students of College of Applied Medical Science in creating innovations in the medical field and promote innovation culture. Our work is based on efficient and well established procedures for collection, evaluation and selection of ideas and the implementation of promising ones.Goal and Objective1.Stimulate the creativity among students through workshops like brainstorming.2.Create a comprehensive environment for innovation including human resources, equipment and facilities.3.Achieve valuable innovations and generate patents.4.Build and manage a rich multidisciplinary knowledge base.5.Promote team work and collaboration between all members.6.Integrate new technology in the management of projects’ proposals and the innovation process itself.
