Conditions of Admission and Transfer

 

 

 

The Admission to the College of Medicine for the Academic Year 1433-1434AH

Admission Conditions:

1. Obtaining School Certificate in physical sciences with a percentage of no less than 90%

2. The date of graduation from secondary school does not exceed two years at the time of application

3. An aptitude test which provided by the National Centre of Evaluation and Assessment should be conducted  

4. An achievement test should be conducted which provided by the National Centre of Evaluation and Assessment

5. Accumulative percentage should not be less than 80% secondary 30%, achievement 40% and aptitude 30%)  (

 6.  English assessment test will be provided.

7. passing the personal interview organized by the college

8. Medical examination will be provided.

9. Fulfilling the college requirements after the preparatory year.

10. Applying through the university portal for admission.

11. Attaching the following documents: 

- Original school certificate with two copies.

-  An original good conduct certificate with one copy.

- Four passport size photos 64×  

- National identity card copy and original for verification.

                                                                     Transfer to the College of Medicine, Majmaah:

Firstly, transfer from outside the university conditions:

1. The student should be registered at the college or recognized university.

2. The college terms and conditions of admission should adhered to by the student.

3. The college required courses should not be less than 60% for the transferred student.

4. The student who wants to transfer should succeed in all the courses that he studied before.

5. The student should have not been transferred to any other college or university before.

6. The student should have not lost his opportunities of postponing or deleting certain course in his previous university.

 7.  The accumulative average of the student should not be less than very good (3.75 out of 5)

8. Transferring from College of Applied Sciences and Colleges of Medicine offering study program different from that of Majmaah will be transferred for the first year only.

  9.  The student should have studied at least one year.

10.  Only medical college's students will be accepted.  

11. Transferring is annual according to the college admission   standards and the available vacant seats.

12. Clearance letter will be needed from previous university.

Secondly, transferring from another college at Majmaah University:

The following conditions should be followed:

  1. Only Medical Colleges will be accepted.
  2. The student s that meets the admission conditions of applied medical colleges will be accepted.
  3. The transferee should be a bona fide student of the college from which he is transferred.
  4. . The student who wants to transfer should have passed in all the courses that he studied before.
  5. The student should have studied at least one year.
  6. The student should not have been transferred to any  other college or university before.
  7. The accumulative average of the student should not be less than very good ( 3.75 out of 5)
  8. The college from which the student transferred should accept the process.
  9. Transferring will be acceptable at the end of the academic year.

 

Strictly in accordance with the college terms and conditions also subject to the availability of vacant seats.

Remarks:

  1. The student should study all the required courses that he did not study in his previous college.
  2. Transfer procedures should be completed within the limited period that is prescribed by Admission Deanship.
  3. Transfere procedures should be completed by the end of the second week of study.

The transferring procedures:

  • The following documents need to be attached with the an application.
  • Identity Card
  • Academic record with an average of not less than 3.75 out of 5

The application of transfer procedures:

  • Academic record with no less than 3.75 asan average
  • School certificate
  • Achievement test record
  • Aptitude test record
  • Courses and certificate obtained such as ILETS
  • Attending the interview
  • Attending the English Language test
  • Applications will be sent to students' affairs unit at the college
