Vice-Dean for Clinical Affairs

Definition:

A faculty member in the college who is responsible for general supervision of clinical affairs, including physicians in medical services and hospitals and interns students in the clinical years, as required by the interest of work in accordance with the regulations. The decision to assign him is issued by the university rector.

Organizational connection:

He/she is linked to the Dean of the College, and he is also a member of the College Council.

Responsibilities:

1- Supervising the units affiliated with him and following up on their tasks, preparing comprehensive reports on the progress of clinical affairs in the college and submitting them to the Dean of the College.

2- Direct supervision of the units affiliated with the Vice-Dean's Office.

3- Recommending the appointment of unit heads and submitting this to the Dean

4- Corresponding with the interns departments in hospitals regarding the training of students.

5- Following up on the progress of clinical work in the various medical facilities.

6- Undertaking any tasks assigned to him within the scope of his competence.
