Definition:
This unit is responsible for communicating with external community entities such as schools, companies, various government entities, and charitable organizations. The Dean of the College issues a decision to assign its head.
Responsibilities:
1. Encouraging faculty members, students, and distinguished researchers to participate in volunteer activities and spread the culture of volunteering.
2. Bridge the gap between the university and the surrounding community and contribute to its development.
3. Highlighting the role of the college in the media with regard to community work and organizing the participation in global and national events.
4. Recruiting college staff to participate in community service activities.
5. Improving the services provided to serve the community.
6. Documenting and preparing reports on community service activities.
7. Linking academic study with community service.
8. Activating the role of students in serving the community in coordination with the college vice-dean's Offices.
9. Motivating college staff to cooperate with health charitable institutions while providing the opportunity for experienced faculty members to provide various health services.
10. Spread the culture of volunteer work to serve the community.
11. Spread health awareness among the internal and external community.
12. Reviewing scientific and practical developments and everything new in the fields of community service.
13. Forming partnerships with various community institutions such as hospitals, schools, factories and private community centers,
14. Identifying the most important community issues and problems, as well as the services that the college programs can meet.
15. Developing an annual plan for the college to serve the community, and implementing the approved community service plan.
16. Implementing the approved community service plan.
17. Measuring the satisfaction of community parties with the community services provided.
18. Holding periodic meetings with beneficiaries of the college's services.
19. Organizing meetings, seminars, scientific lectures and training courses that contribute to serving the community.
20. Promoting and advertising the college's community services.
21. Encouraging scientific research to solve important issues and problems in the community in coordination with the Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Unit in the college.
22. Carry out any tasks assigned by the head.
