Definition:

This unit aims to supervise laboratory equipment and provide technical support to the college staff. The Dean of the College issues a decision to assign its head.

 

Responsibilities:

1 - Conducting studies on the college's needs for laboratories, supporting equipment and software in coordination with the scientific departments.

2 - Supervising laboratory equipment in the college laboratory in coordination with the scientific departments.

3 - Following up with companies regarding the supply of scientific equipment in coordination with the scientific departments.

4 - Following up with relevant parties regarding the maintenance and operation of scientific equipment.

5 - Following up on setting up central laboratories in the college in coordination with the scientific departments.

6 - Working on developing development plans for the laboratories in the college in coordination with the scientific departments.

7 - Supervising all data related to the laboratory.

8 - Preparing regular reports on the activities of laboratories.

9 - Supervising the recruitment of human resources, whether technicians or workers, as much as possible according to the needs of laboratories.

10 - Conducting regular follow-up and evaluation of laboratories.

11 - Supervising and maintaining meeting rooms and e-learning halls.

12 - Providing technical support to the college and its members in accordance with the policies of the relevant supporting deanships.

13 - Developing development plans for the unit.
