The Department of Basic Medical Sciences at the College of Medicine organized a visit to the diagnostic medical laboratories at Dr. Sulaiman Al-Habib Medical Group in Riyadh to bridge the gap between academic study and work practice.

The hospital welcomed the 60 students from the College of Medicine under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Al-Harbi, the supervisor of the genetic and cancerous diseases subject, and his assistant, Dr. Nazia Khan. The team included Dr. Kashif Sheikh, and Dr. Aisha Al-Mas.

The students were introduced to the diagnostic medical laboratories departments including the modern techniques in diagnosing genetic and cancerous diseases.
