The College of Medicine proudly extends its heartfelt congratulations to its student, Baneen Al-Hammad and Ruba Al-Mutairi, for winning first place at the Modeling Hackathon (Health Track) held at King Abdulaziz University, which brought together outstanding student talents from various universities.

This well-deserved achievement is the result of their scientific efforts and innovative approach in presenting a creative medical project, which involved designing a device to enable rapid response for patients with Spinal Cord Injuries (SCI). The device enhances early intervention, reduces the risk of severe complications, and demonstrates advanced medical awareness of the importance of innovation in serving human health.

This winning stands as an exemplary model of the College of Medicine’s outcomes and reflects the scientific competence, research spirit, and innovative capabilities of its students, highlighting their ability to make meaningful contributions to medical science and healthcare innovation.
