Schloarship and Training Unit

The Scholarships and Training Unit was established as part of the Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research to care for scholarship and training and serve scholarship holders and trainees of the college in KSA and abroad. Specifically, the unit works to facilitate and follow up the scholarship of TAs and lecturers in local and international universities of academic renown so that they win certificates, gain knowledge and experience, and develop their pedagogic and research skills.

The Scholarship and Training Department follows up its affiliates in the scholarship center and works to know their academic progress so that the goals of the scholarship are reached. The follow up is carried through reports from external supervisors and Saudi cultural bureaus. The unit receives such reports from the Deanship of Graduate studies. Therefore, the unit is responsible for the follow up of all details related to the scholarship holder or trainee while in the center of their scholarship. In this respect, the unit controls the extension of the duration or change of specialty or any other procedures related to them. The whole process is undertaken in coordination with the relevant department in the college.
