Under the patronage of the Dean, Dr. Fahad bin Khalid Al-Zufairi, and in cooperation with the Student Activities Unit of College Deanship for Student Affairs, the Community Services Unit of College Deanship for Graduate Studies and Research organized a campaign on raising awareness of Diabetes among the community of Medical Applied Sciences (MAS) College including the students, staff and faculty members. In line with the World Diabetes Day and due to the increasing numbers of diabetic patients in the Saudi society, the campaign aimed to spread awareness of the disease, its causes, symptoms, diagnosis, treatments and prevention. Dr. Mohammad Seyam, Head of Community Services Unit, launched the activity at the campus on Wednesday 22\11\2016, corresponding to 22\2\1438Ah, at 10 A.M. The awareness campaign included displaying a short movie on Diabetes, distributing brochures on Diabetes, and some students did Glucose tests to the audience.
