Dr. Fahad Al-Dhefiri- Dean of the College of Applied Medical Science- and Dr. Majed Al-Ameri- Vice-dean of Academic Affairs and Supervisor of Quality Department- received a delegation from the Deanship of Quality and Skills Development headed by the Dean Dr. Muhammad Jarallah and accompanied by his advisors Dr. Mahmoud Tharwat and Dr. Jamal Semida. The visit, which took place on Thursday, 09/05/1437, aimed at reviewing the latest developments regarding Quality and academic accreditation in the College.
Dr. Dhefiri welcomed the visitors and thanked them for their interest in the development of quality and skills at the college. Dr. Omer Amer- Head of the Quality Unit- gave a presentation about key activities aimed at improving quality at the college and fulfilling the requirements of national academic accreditation. Also, he unveiled an executive internal review plan and showed the previous activities of the college in this regard. Then, another presentation- given by Dr. Jarallah (Dean of Quality) - pointed out the Structure of Quality along with the primary activities scheduled for the upcoming period starting from the visit of independent internal audits following the completion of the Self-study Report of Majmaah University. This visit will be followed up by the Rector’s Prize for Quality and Development and then the internal review of the University Programs. Furthermore, he examined the result of the assessment of the college programs throughout the past period in addition to the recommendations of the Deanship for development.
At the end of his presentation, he thanked the college staff for their efforts in the development of the college programs aimed at attaining the national and international academic accreditation. Finally, Dr. Dhefiri –the College Dean- expressed his appreciation to the delegation for their interest in the development of quality at the college.
