The scholarship-student Yahya Madkhali from the Department of Medical Laboratories at the College of Applied Medical Science participated in the annual conference of the British Society of Blood and Stroke Diseases that has been recently held at Warwick University from 8 to 9/2018.
Mr. Yahya Presented a research paper on the ability of cancer cells to secrete the factor VII (thrombotic factor VII) and tissue factor (TF), which cause blood clots.
The student presented his research on the function of anticoagulants and their effect on reducing the percentage of these particles, ways of detecting them in the body and reducing the risk of blood clots in cancer patients.
