CCIS Holds Second Semester Welcoming Meeting in the Female Side

Under the Presidency of the College of Computer and Information Sciences female section's Vice Dean, Dr. Rana Al-Abdan, a meeting was held on Wednesday, 9 January 2019 with the faculty members of the College. The vice dean congratulated the faculty members on the accomplishment of the first term and thanked them for their great efforts. The new members were welcomed, and a motivational speech was given to encourage them to adopt a spirit of teamwork and diligence. Then, the speaker clarified some of the student's important regulations and the educational process. The vice dean stressed after that the importance of the student and the need to give them utmost attention as they are the cornerstone of the development of society. She urged faculty to pay attention to transparency in terms of procedures and to clarify the study plan for students in a smooth manner.

The vice dean discussed then together with the Community Service Unit Coordinator Mrs. Olfa AL Hadi, the importance of community service initiatives to represent the college at the university level and the need to submit proposals to be implemented in the second term under the supervision of the college's vice dean and the coordinator of the unit.
