CCIS Welcomes a Student Delegation from King Abdullah Secondary School

Within the framework of endorsing its community services, the college of Computer and Information Sciences welcomed a student delegation from King Abdullah High School in Majmaah. The visitors were received by the Vice Dean for Scientific Research who expressed his pleasure with the visit and hoped it would be of benefit to the students. 
 
The student delegation toured then, accompanied by a number of faculty and representatives of the student clubs, the facilities of the college and acquainted with its modern labs. The lab supervisors reviewed the latest technologies used in the college to train the students and qualify them for the labor market. 
 
Moreover, the Vice-Dean, the heads of departments as well as the supervisor of student activities and the representatives of the student clubs held a meeting with the student delegation. The meeting discussed the academic departments of the college and the achievements the college made in obtaining ABET accreditation in 2018 in addition to the achievements of the students and the advanced positions they won in several technical competitions at the level of the Kingdom. Furthermore, the vice dean for graduate studies reviewed the efforts made by the College in qualifying graduates to meet the needs of the labor market and in contributing effectively to achieve the vision of 2030. At the end of the meeting the vice dean wished the visit would benefit the student delegation and help them plan their academic future at the university
