The Digital Development Initiative concluded its projects for this year on Thursday 26/7/1439.
The future program was concluded with the Future Programmer contest with the participation of 40 school students.
The students had been prepared during this academic year to learn programming, develop games and electronic apps.
The Digital Citizenship Project was concluded by honoring 40 school students.
The Department of Student Affairs opened the Student Affairs Exhibition that was developed by the students participating in the Future Programmer Competition.
The Vice Dean for Student Affairs Ms. Amal Al-Johani, delivered a speech on behalf of Dr. Hisham Mohammed Al-Saghir, Director of the Digital Initiative, who stated that the initiative was funded by the Vision Achievement Office at the Ministry of Education in contribution to the realization of the 2030 vision of the Kingdom.
Ms. Amal thanked the Rector for his unlimited support to implement this initiative, the Vice-Rector and the Department of Student Affairs for the efforts made in this regard.
The student, Lian Al-Rousa, gave a speech on behalf of her female colleagues, in which she thanked Majmah University for providing them with the opportunity to benefit from the Digital Citizenship Program.
A film about the Digital Citizenship Project and the Future Programmer was presented.
The Vice Dean of Student Affairs gave a speech in which she thanked the students who passed the Program and the winners of the Future Programmer Contest.
She noted that the Digital Development Initiative had received good participation, as it was closely linked to the objectives of the Kingdom's 2030 vision, particularly with regard to the technical aspect and the digital environment.
Ms. Amal thanked Dr. Hisham Al Sagheer, Director of the Initiative, for his great efforts in the success of the initiative, the College of Computer Science, and the Dean of the College, Dr. Mohammed Al Shehri for their efforts at the College.
At the end of the ceremony, the winners of the Future Programmer contest were awarded as follow:
1. RN Team represented by Rafal Abdul Aziz Al-Tuwaijri and Najd Mohammed Al-Muharj won the first place.
2. RD’s Trip Team represented by Raghad Mohammed Khamis Al-Mutairi and Dai Hassan Ahmed Al-Awla won the second place.
3. Programming Queens Team represented by Sarah Hesham Al-Saghir and Sarah Abdullah Almajel won the third place.
The winners of the Digital Citizenship Program were awarded as follow:
1. Lian Ali Abdullah Al-Mutairi won the first place.
2. Rana Raja Mahlasi won the second place.
3. Reem Rizkan Al-Enezi won the third place.
Additionally, all participants in the Digital Citizenship Project and the Future Programmer Program were honored.
