Participation of CCIS Students in National Campaign for Breast Cancer Awareness

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information, Dr. Mohammed Al-Shehri, and at the request of the Vice-Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Rana Al-Abdan, the College at female campus participated in National Campaign for Breast Cancer Awareness. An awareness campaign, targeting students and faculty of CCSI, was organized by Student Support Unit on Wednesday in the college’s foyer in conjunction with the world campaign for breast cancer awareness. Awareness flyers were distributed highlighting the symptoms and causes of breast cancer and the ways to prevent it. The campaign also focused on demonstrating the importance of early diagnose and its relation with the possibility of being recovered. Healthy food and drinks that may help in fighting this disease were shown by the college.
