The Department of Educational Sciences is affiliated with The College of Educational Sciences and teaches several major disciplines, including Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Psychology, Educational Technology, Foundations of Education, and Educational Leadership and Planning.
Beyond offering courses at the College of Education, the department also oversees general education courses taught across various colleges at the university. It plays a key role in supervising student-teachers during their field training, preparing them to work in diverse educational settings.
As education continues to evolve, there is a growing need for well-structured, thoughtful teaching approaches. Today’s educators must be skilled in lesson planning, integrating technology effectively, assessing learning outcomes, and addressing the diverse psychological and cultural backgrounds of their students.
