The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology (DOG) is one of the clinical departments of the College of Medicine. Founded since the establishment of the College, the department includes two faculty members who undertake teaching tasks for college students and provide medical care at King Khalid Hospital in Majmaah.
Future Vision:
The department’s faculty work to serve many aspects related to the educational process and medical services.
Aspect one:
Recruitment (recruit highly qualified faculty and offering scholarships to teaching assistants.
Aspect two:
Research (encourage faculty to publish their works and fund them)
Aspect three:
Teaching (the department adopts up-to-date methods of teaching and regularly evaluate teachers to ensure maximum efficiency)
Aspect four:
Community service (Provide direct and indirect medical services via health practitioners who are introduced to best international standards of health care; ramp up community health awareness via seminars and media)
