Medical services department at the college of medicine arranged with alliance with the student club at the college conducted a campaign at Banda supermarket in Al Majmaah during the World Down syndrome day March 21, 2017.
The campaign aimed to invite patients with Down syndrome and their families. It involved an introductory presentation about the syndrome followed by general assessment of their health including assessing their height and weight and plotting them against the growth charts.
The campaign was concluded by the distribution of gifts including booklets about the syndrome.
We appreciate the help of the rehabilitation center at Al Majmaah for their cooperation in inviting the patients they are in contact with.
