Academic Advising Program

The Student Support Unit at the Female Section held an academic program on Monday 16/07/1439 at the College Theater under the supervision of Ms. Manal Ba Baker and Ms. Daleel Al-Mufrej.

The program targets high school students (grade 3) of all the schools in Hawtat Sudair and Temir to raise awareness of students expected to graduate from high school this year with regard to university education.

A welcome speech by the College Vice-Dean Dr. Nourah Al Shehri, was delivered first. Then another speech by the Student Support Unit was given about the Unit, importance of academic advising, admission and registration.

After that, Ms. Nora Al-Fares explained how to choose majors based on personal tendencies and self-interests.

Then student Aisha Al-Naji gave some pieces of advice to the students.

The departments of the College were also introduced by the academic advising coordinators.

At the end of the program, an orientation tour of the College facilities was taken, and a guidebook about the important departments and units of the college was distributed.
