The College Holds a Workshop on Programs Accreditation

As part of the activities of the college Quality and development Center and under the sponsorship of his Excellency the college dean Dr / Tariq Bin Sulaiman Albahlal, a workshop for ( accreditation program ) has been organized and delivered by Dr / Ridha Samour; the quality expert , and counselor of quality standards and requirements. The workshop aimed to clarify and discuss the criteria for accreditation program, including: learning resources and objectives, scientific research, and community service. Dr. Ridha stressed out the need to meet these standards in order to obtain the accreditation of a certain program he also added that it is possible to follow an educational institution model known for its high quality and make a comparison so we would know our potentials. He also discussed in details the scientific research standard, and everything related to scientific research; the number of researchers , the quality of research, publishing and literature , awards , promotions, graduate studies , the number of students per each faculty member and laboratories, teaching assistants , and how that not all faculty members should have PhD degrees otherwise the number of teaching assistants will be uneven, or we would be missing teaching and research assistants, in addition to the agreements and meetings , correspondence , books, documentations, reports and projects. It is worth mentioning that this event was attended by a number of faculty members and it was transferred via the network to the female section
