A program entitled "Red cells Suicide"

The Department of Educational Sciences organized a scientific program entitled "Red cells Suicide" on Thursday, 10/06/1436 in the Lecture Hall. The lecture- presented by Dr. Iman Mahmoud- was about the suicide red blood cells and its breakdown by the spleen to get its proteins and iron for the bone marrow and for the digestion of fat, hence making its death useful for other cells. Dr. Iman also explained the formation process of red blood cells. Then a video was played showing the body's red blood cells, their functions and death. A few questions were answered at the end of the lecture.
