At the request of the dean of the College, Dr. Mohammed Al-Shehri, and under the supervision of Dr. Laila Al-Mutairi, the Vice Dean for Female Student Affairs, a celebration was held by the Student Activities Unit at the College of Computer Sciences and Information, on the founding day.

The ceremony was attended by a number of faculty members and students and featured a visual introduction about the history of the first Saudi state, which was founded by Imam Muhammad bin Saud.

At the end of the ceremony, some souvenirs were distributed to the participants and attendees.
