ABET FULFILLS CCIS PROGRAMS EVALUATION

The ABET team fulfilled its Majmaah Univeristy  visit to evaluate the Bachelor programs at CCIS  in computer science (computer security, software engineering,) as well as the IT program  (digital forensics, multimedia & web design, network management). The team leader together with the referees of the CAC presented the exit report in a meeting that was attended by the Rector, vice rectors, colleges and logistics deanships deans.

The exit report included the results of evaluating the application of academic accreditation criteria which are, study plans, labs, facilities, research, faculty qualification, administrative competences, learning outcomes and professional development.

The report concluded that CCIS programs flawlessly fulfills all the criteria of ABET accreditation in addition to some assets like the quality of tracks and labs, professional partnerships with pioneering technology companies as well as preparing students for the job market.

It is worth mentioning that the final results will be released by the end of July 2018 as per ABET procedures.

On this occasion the college dean Dr. Hisham, AL Saghir congratulated the rector as well as university affiliates and students for the positive results of the exit report. The dean mentioned that the university is expecting the final result by the end of next July to crown the college programs with a prestigious international accreditation which will contribute to an outstanding presence of its programs and endorse the acknowledgement of the college program quality.
