Under the supervision and attendance of the college Vice-dean for academic affairs Dr. Mohamed Abdulrahman AL Shehri, the Unit of Academic Counselling at the college held its first meeting for the second term with students from all departments. The meeting aimed to solve pending problems of enrollment, ensure that students are committed to their study plans and discuss academic issues and novelties in the college. A full day was dedicated to the allocation of each student to an academic counsellor by updating their academic counselling forms and the study plan according to allowed hours and their general average.
The problems of enrollment varied between students desire to raise their study load, the inability to take some courses, dropping late courses and adding others from advanced levels. These problems were solved in coordination with the academic counsellor of the student and the unit of admission and registration in the college.
The problems related to enrolling students in the university obligatory courses in other colleges were also solved. The unit answered students' enquiries on such courses as "An Introduction to Islamic Culture", " Linguistic Skills", "Arabic Writing" and the "Fundamentals of Health and Fitness".
