The CCIS Female section organized a workshop entitled “Communication Skills”. The student Maha Hamoud AL Mutiri conducted the training on 13/03/2019 which targeted both studens and faculty members.
Mrs. Mutiri presented several topics on communication skills including the definition of communication skills, the importance of communication skills in community service and its objectives, types of communication (verbal communication, nonverbal communication), general characteristics and conditions of communication process, as well as the necessary skills such as research skill, communication skill, listening skill, reading skill, and thinking skill.
Mrs. Mutiri also focused on communication elements and obstacles, factors that help the community service and volunteer work and contribute to direct communication. The training was a success among attending students and faculty. The college thanked in turn the student for sharing her skills which benefitted the faculty and students together.
