CCIS Launches the "self-marketing" Program for Students

Under the patronage of His Excellency the Dean of the College of Computer and Information Sciences Dr. Mohammed Bin Abdulrahman Al-Shehri, the Academic Advising Unit, in cooperation with the Student Services Unit, held a training program for 9th and 10th levels students on "Self-Marketing." The first day included a training session entitled ‘the art of drafting a CV’. The training program was implemented in both male and female parts of the college. It aimed at qualifying the students of the college to prepare an authentic CV in order to enter the labor market by focusing on the following topics: Definition of a CV, its importance, various types, expert advice in writing CV, how to prepare a CV and its correct wording, and the most common mistakes in writing CV.

The program included the application of a number of practical methods in the drafting of a CV, browsing sites offering ready templates of CVs and evaluate the differences between them, and how to employ them according to the job applied for by the graduate.
