Under the patronage of the Rector Dr. Khalid bin Saad AL Mogran the first issue of the quarterly bulletin of the Faculty of Computer Science and Information was released during the exhibition accompanying the events of the scientific research week organized by the Deanship of Scientific Research. The bulletin comes as first fruits for a number of specialized issues to be released by the College of Computer Science and Information. The bulletin is a cultural, scientific, and academic observer of technological novelties in the specialties of computer science and information technologies and serves as a window on the academic mobility of the college. It is edited by faculty members and students alike and serves as a cultural and scientific pot that highlights students’ skills and provide faculty members the chance to make their specialties of service to the local community, specialists and interested people. The bulletin includes also contributions from international advisors thus seeking to function as a bridge between college faculty members, students, local community and the job market.
The college was honored by the editorial of his Excellency the rector Dr. Khalid Ben Saad AL Mogren where he pointed to the importance of such initiatives to encourage students and faculty to publish and share technical knowledge continuously to reach the goal of knowing about the latest technologies and researches.
