The 5th Meeting of Academic Accreditation for the current year 1440/1441 was chaired by the Dean of the College of Medicine and the Supervisor of Medical Services, Dr. Khalid Al-Abdelwahhab.

In the presence of the Vice-Dean for Educational Affairs, Dr. Rayan Al-Barakati, the College of Medicine, represented by the Department of Medical Education in collaboration with the Department of PR, held an introductory program for new faculty members.

The College of Medicine (Female Section) held the closing ceremony for the student activities for 1438-1439 academic year on Thursday 24/8/1439 in the presence of the supervisor of the female section Ms. Badria Al-Seif as well as the staff and faculty members.

Supported by the Deanship of Student Affairs, the College of Medicine, in cooperation with King Khaled Hospital in Majmah, organized a campaign titled “You are precious" at Majmah Mall on Thursday and Friday, 26-27 / 7/1439, to educate the community about common mental illnesses.

The College of Medicine (Girls' Sections) organized a brisk walking activity on Thursday and Sunday 12-15 / 7/1439 in the courtyard of the College.
The presenters explained the importance of brisk walking, the right time for it and the importance of drinking water while walking.

A meeting was conducted by The Student Advisory Council under the chairmanship of the Dean of the College of Medicine and Supervisor of Medical Services, Dr. Khaled Al-Abdalwahab.

The College of Medicine (Girls Sections) organized an activity to introduce the Prophetic Medicine on Tuesday, 11/6/1439.

Visitors were introduced to cupping and its benefits, black grain, olive oil and honey as well as the Prophet's Hadiths about their benefits.

Dr. Islam Shusha, Professor of Neurology and Consultant of Multiple Sclerosis at the College of Medicine, has represented MU in the 10th Gulf Neurology Science Conference at an invitation from the chairman of the conference.

The Family Medicine Department at the College of Medicine conducted a professional development program for Primary Care Physicians. The aim of the program is to increase the knowledge of physicians and keep them updated with the latest in their field.

University Director Mr. Khalid Al-Muqrin issued an administrative order no (1636) to reform the council of ICU at Medicine College for the following two years to be:

The Dean of the College of Medicine Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Abdul Wahab has issued a number of administrative decisions:
First: Appointment of Dr. Suleiman bin Abdul Aziz Al-Mutairi as head of the Graduate Affairs Unit at the College

The Dean of the Scientific Research, Dr. Saeed Bin Saleh Banawas, was hosted by the Deanship of Scientific Research to give a talk about the chances of having the scientific research being funded and how to apply for it.

The Dean of College of Medicine Dr. Khalid Al-Abdul Wahab, accompanied by Dr. Fahd Al-Fuhaid, Vice-Dean for Development and Quality, has received the Strategic Plan Committee of the University.

The college of Medicine at Al Majmaah University has always contributed to serving the community. One of the major being the contribution of its faculty in the local hospital, King Khalid Hospital.In that hospital more than 50 doctors are working both in clinical and basic sciences.
