As a part of College of Science and Humanities attempt to serve the community, a workshop was conducted on the theme of ‘Definition, Origin, and types of Law and definition of Legal Regulation’.
The workshop was organized by Association of Maternal and Child Women’s Charity in AlGhat on Tuesday, and presented by the Legal Consultant Mr. Mflah bin Hamoud Al-Ashjai.
Mr. Al-Ashgai addressed in the workshop a number of important points in law such as:
1. Origin and types of law
2. Legal regulation
3. Difference between mandatory, proscription, and complementary rules
4. Difference between rights in Shariah and Law
5. The penalty in law and its enactment.
Practical applications for the main aspects in law were given such as:
1. Is it true that law doesn’t protect the fools or does it enacted only to protect them?
2. Sources of law
3. The meaning of aggravating circumstance in law, and when is it applied?
4. Types of crimes in law
5. The rule of law in vision 2030
The workshop was attended by a number of high school students led by Mr. Waleed bin Rhashid Al-Oraifej, and was broadcasted to female departments.
At the end of the workshop, Dr. Omar bin Mohammed Al-Omar, College Dean, extended his thanks and appreciation to Mr. Mflah bin Hamoud Al-AshJai, and to Ms. Ouhud bint Saleh Al-Radhi, Executive Director of Association of Maternal and Child Women’s Charity in AlGhat for their cooperation.
