The Student Activity Unit at the College of Science and Humanities held a 2-week training course entitled "Data Analysis Using Data Mining Tools” by Dr. Faisal Mohammed Nafie Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science on every Tuesday and Wednesday.

The course covered the following topics:

• Utilization of data using data mining
• Definition of data mining
• Data mining tasks (definitions and applications)
• Why we need data mining
• Stages of data mining
• Most popular data mining programs used in the analysis
