Under the directives of the Dean of the college of Sciences and Humanities in Alghat, Dr. Omar bin Mohammed Al-Omar, the supervisor of the Student Support Unit, Dr. Mohammed Issa, presented the training course which aims at learning the skills of effective study to enabling students of academic achievement, following study strategies that help students increase the academic achievement, and retention of information and educational knowledge, ". The course targeted the college students where the keys to excellence were addressed, as follows:
1 - Develop a passionate about knowledge
2 - Beware of bad fellows and time wasting.
3 – Do assignments and review of lessons on daily basis.
4. Time management and determine academic priorities according to the given time.
5. Study integrated topics.
6 - The correlation between what is studied and the information, that students have, strengthens memory.
Al- Omar thanked and appreciated the student support unit for providing such training programs that develop the academic aspect of the students.
