The College organized the "Hour of Code" activity, which aims to introduce the basics of computer science and programming to non-specialists in the fields of computing.

College of Computer and Information Sciences run a number of specialized professional courses to help the students in the workplace learn specific skills in particular areas.

The students of the cloud computing course at the college visited the data center at the Deanship of Information Technology in the University to learn about the technology available in the center such as the servers, the storage of data and the cloud technologies used.

The college received a group of students from King Fahad High School who visited the facilities of the College and its modern laboratories.
The Dean welcomed the students and expressed his pleasure with the visit.

On Wednesday, 21/05/1439, the Summer Training Unit at the College of Computer Science and Information (Female Section) organized an induction forum for summer training as one of the basic requirements for graduation.

The ABET team fulfilled its Majmaah Univeristy  visit to evaluate the Bachelor programs at CCIS  in computer science (computer security, software engineering,) as well as the IT program  (digital forensics, multimedia & web design, network management).

The College of Computer and Information Sciences (Female Student section) organized the Student Day event with the participation of ACM_W Chapter. The program scheduled three main parts that included a number of activities and programming competitions.
