Under the patronage of His Excellency, the Rector, Dr. Khalid Bin Saud Al Margin and the presence of the Ghat governor, Mr. Abdullah Al Nasser AlSidairy, the college launched the cornerstone of the new buildings and establishment. The celebration started with recitation of holy Quran then a visual display of a documentary show about the college and its different departments and the number of male and female students. Then His Excellency, the rector inaugurated the mobile clinics that located in the different centres of the province. Later, the Dean of the college, Dr. Khalid Al Shafi welcomed the rector of the university and the governor of Ghat Province and the audience and argued that the buildings are very important to the college and have to be established as quick as possible for the benefit of the students. Then the governor of Ghat welcomed the Rector of the university and the college dean and the audience and thanked the government of the custodian of the two holy mosques, King Abdullah for his effort to make the dream of Ghat province to be accomplished. Later His Excellency, the University Rector put the cornerstone and a film show was displayed about the buildings, different departments and labs that will be constructed His Excellency, the Rector delivered a speech in which he thanked the government of the custodian of the two holy mosques, King Abdullah for his efforts in funding the and encouraging the higher education and I particular the University of Majmmah . At the end of the celebration , the Dean of the college , Dr. Khalid Al Shafi offered His Excellency, Rector a memorial gift and the same memorial to the governor of Ghat.
