Under the patronage of the Vice-Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Muhammad Al-Shehri, the Department of Scholarships and Training at the Vice-Rector's Office for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research held a workshop on the scholarship strategies at Majmaah University for Saudi faculty members, teaching assistants and lecturers.
During the workshop, the executive rules for scholarships and training for faculties were explained as well as the conditions and requirements of language studies, master's and PhD and fellowship programs inside and outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The workshop was presented by Ms. Ghalia Al-Furaih, a master's degree holder in radiation therapy physics and cancer biology from the University of Manchester, UK.
Some of the university's scholarship students shared their experience, including Dr. Asim Al-Aqili, who holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of South Florida, US, Dr. Warda Al-Huqail, who holds a PhD in Biology from the University of Essex, UK, Dr. Fahed Al-Rashidi, who holds a PhD in Arabic Language from Qassim University.
At the end of the workshop, the Vice-Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research presented certificates of attendance to the participants in the workshop.
