Under the patronage of His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah Al-Mizil, and in the presence of the Vice President for Educational Affairs, Prof. Dr. Muhammad bin Saleh Al-Aboudi, the Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Ahmed bin Ali Al-Rumaih, the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Saleh bin Amileh Al-Rashidi, and a number of leaders and employees of the university, employees of clubs and offices of the Ministry of Sports, the Deanship of Student Affairs organized the university's first cycling championship for university students in a wonderful sports demonstration in order to ensure diversity in Sports events for university students, and in line with the Kingdom's vision 2030 through the goal of improving the quality of life, a number of university students from various colleges participated in this tournament.

 

At the end of it, the Vice President for Educational Affairs honored the success partners, where the General Administration of University Security, the General Administration of Projects, Operation and Maintenance, the General Administration of Relations and Conferences, the University Medical Center Department, the University Media Center, and the Technical Director of the tournament were honored with commemorative shields for their contribution to the success of the tournament, and His Excellency honored the mobile and media clubs for their cooperation and the winners of the students, where the tenth place was won by the student Ishaq Fayez Ibrahim, and the ninth place was Bukhari Muslim , the eighth place Ahmed Al-Ahmad, the seventh place Saeed Al-Shahrani, the sixth place Omar Diego, the fifth place Ndiho Yassin, the fourth place Meshaal Al-Buqami, the third place Abdul Hadi Al-Hakami, and the second place Abdul Rashid Mahmoud, while the first place was achieved by the student Muhammad Al-Fuhaid, Her Excellency the Vice President for Student Affairs, Dr. Jawaher Al-Omar, honored the volunteer students, participants in the organization and the winners of the championship, where the tenth place was achieved by the student Ruqayya Mustafa Abdel-Aal, and the ninth place was the student Munira Fahd Al-Shaya, the eighth place is the student Fatima Saad Al-Ajrami, the seventh place is the student Najla Munif Al-Saqiani, the sixth place is the student Sarah Muhammad Al-Duwaihi, the fifth place is the student Reem Ahmed Ali, the fourth place is the student Rahaf Ismail Mahra, the third place is the student Al-Jawhara Al-Sulaiman, the second place is the student Jawaher Abdullah Al-Nouh, while the first place was achieved by the student Haia Saad Al-Azmi.

 

This was mentioned by the Head of the Sports and Scouting Activity Department, Mr. Nasser Al-Hanno, who thanked the Dean of Student Affairs for his support and guidance, the Vice Dean for Student Activities for his follow-up, all his colleagues in the Sports and Scouting Department, male and female employees for their efforts, and all the participants from success partners, student clubs and contestants for the great cooperation that contributed to the success of the tournament.

In the presence of the Secretary-General of the Sports Federation of Saudi Universities, His Excellency Dr. Abdulelah Salwi, and His Excellency the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Saleh Al-Rashidi, the university football team was crowned with bronze medals, the third place cup, and the amount of (20.000) twenty thousand riyals in the Sports Federation of Saudi Universities Football League category B, after defeating the Najran University team on penalties 4/3 after the original match time ended with a draw 1/1 in the third-place match that was held at Najd Club Stadium in Hotat Sudair. On a special evening filled with joy, the Deanship of Student Affairs opened the Department of the Iron Hall in the sports hall and honored the students and a number of faculty members participating in the sports hall programs in honor of Student Affairs Day Dr. Hamad bin Abdullah Al-Qumaizi The ceremony began with a recitation of the Holy Quran by the student / Saleh Al-Dosari, and then His Excellency the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Hamad bin Abdullah Al-Qumaizi, went to open the Iron Hall Department, where His Excellency was accompanied by a number of employees of the Deanship of Student Affairs, In this tour, the mechanism of work of the devices was explained to His Excellency the Dean and provided an overview of the advantages of the new devices that were recently purchased, then an open meeting was held n students in which His Excellency the Dean answered the students' questions and after this meeting was a presentation of self-training by a group of students who presented a set of exercises followed by a presentation of karate arts that dazzled the attendees.

At the end of the ceremony, the sports hall, under the auspices of the Dean of Student Affairs, presented shields to all those attending the evening sports hall, and His Excellency the Dean urged the importance of the role of practicing sports for the individual, especially students, because of their health benefits and the use of free time.
