The Department of Student Affairs at the College of Science and Humanities has responded to the invitation of Abdul Rahman Al-Sudairy Cultural Center to attend the Munira Bint Mohammed Al-Mulhim Community Service Forum in its tenth session which was held on Wednesday 21/5/1439 under the title of “Women Entrepreneurship: Reality and Future Prospects”.
A total of 12 female students from all departments of the college were selected to volunteer in supervising the workshops of the forum, and 35 students to attend the event.
The delegation was headed by Dr. Huda Al-Barrak, Vice-Dean of the Department of Female Students under the supervision of Ms. Enas Fawzi, Supervisor of Community Service Unit, Dr. Rehab Farouk Secretary of Student Activity, Dr. Mona Gaber, Coordinator of the Department of English, Dr. Jehan Al-Majdoubi, Computer Science Department Coordinator and Mr. Siham Samida, Business Administration Coordinator.
The event included a number of courses and workshops on women entrepreneurship -the reality and future aspirations- that were presented by a group of specialists in entrepreneurship.
These workshops addressed creative ideas, creativity in entrepreneurship and the mechanism for business model as well as the legal procedures related to starting off small and medium enterprises.
