The College Holds a Reception for New Students

Based on instructions from the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Humanities Dr. Omar Al-Omar, a reception was held by the Student Support Unit for new students at the College on Wednesday 21/05/1439 in the presence of the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs Dr. Ibrahim Al-Zamil, heads of departments and faculty members.

The reception started with a welcoming speech from the vice-dean who introduced the college and encouraged freshmen to exert efforts in their studies in order to be successful.

The heads of departments then introduced their respective departments to the new students and stressed the need for regular attendance of lectures from the beginning of the semester.

This was followed by a speech for Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Issa, Supervisor of the Student Support Unit, in which he talked about the problems during first semester and the proposed solutions to avoid them in the second semester. Later, students’ inquiries were answered, and the participants were appreciated for their contributions.
