A Training Course entitled

Based on the directive of the College of Science and Humanities in Ghat, Dr. Omar Al-Omar and the follow-up of the Head of English Department, Dr. Ali Al-Masa’awi, the English Language Club conducted on Wednesday a training course entitled "Appreciating Poetry".
Presented by Dr. Muhannad Sabha, Assistant Professor, the course addressed the following topics:
1. Tasting all kinds of poetry
2. Explaining the literary lexical of the poetry
3. Exploring the different patterns of poetry
4. Exploring metaphors
The aim of the course are :
1. Introduce students to literary concepts related to poetry
2. Appreciating various literary patterns
3. Explain to students how literary discourse is analyzed
4. Introduce students to the different styles of poetry
The Dean Dr. Al-Omar said this course is part of a whole plan set by the College targeting students to meet their needs of training and skills development.
