A training course for new students on how to use the Blackboard system

At the request of the Dean of the College, Dr. Omar Al-Omar, and with the follow-up of the Vice-Dean for Educational Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Al-Harbi, the E-Learning Unit held a 3-day training course for new students on how to use the Blackboard system. The course was presented by Dr. Hassan Hammouda, the supervisor of the unit, and addressed the following topics:

Elements of electronic courses and interface.

Links to programs that students may need for study.

Elements of 'start' which include (course plan - exams schedule - student tasks - evaluation mechanism).

Video links to explain the course.

How to study the course (introduction - objectives - content - summary - activities).

How to download the scientific content of the course (pdf files).

How to view course announcements.

How to use the homework tool and upload files.

How to solve the course activities.

How to answer lessons tests.

How to answer the lesson questions and then move on to the next lesson.

How to participate in the course discussions and answer the questions

How to participate in the virtual classes of the course and interact with the professor and student.

How to follow the evaluation tool in the course.

How to send an email to the professor on the system.

How to receive e-mail in the system.

How to see grades of exams, assignments, discussions and virtual classes.
